Part 24 of our road trip across Northern Quebec and Eastern Canada. We hooked up with Mark, a traveling photographer who we originally met a few months earlier, at a Walmart Parking lot in Ottawa, Ontario. He was nice enough to give us a tour of his self-converted stealth camper van.

Another great interview. Thank you for showing his setup. Always pick up points. Can you cut out the wind noise? Only criticism I have.
Holy crap that is one hell of a unique build with the onan generator and fuse panel. Thanks for sharing your freedom lifestyle! Wish there was a link to show off his photography
nice guy
Awesome interview, thanks for sharing!! blessings Salo
Very enjoyable thank you for sharing:))
Interesting! Thank you for sharing his story with us.
You definitely need a wind filter!! Hard to hear some of the dialogue.
Interesting, but surely all those small batteries could be charged easily from 12v adaptors? At least thats what I do from my motorbike and car.
A windsock for your mike would be VERY useful! And knowing where to look the photographer's work up would have been nice!Great that you captured that man's awesome lifestyle! INSPIRING!
I wish I could of seen some of his photos.
Do you know if there is somewhere we can check out Mark's photos? I'd love to see his work.
#vapenation
what a tiddy van!
at 5:13 you can see his license plate
Great looking set up. Where is the generator kept at?
Thanks Mark very much! Nice meeting you – thanks for sharing your van setup and info….safe travels….Happy Trails from Missouri.
After a year, I was wondering if Mark have made a website yet! So anxious to see his work!
Do you have a link to this dude's work?
Awesome setup! I added this to one of my playlists for cool van builds!
I caution many people with dogs……..NEVER tie a dog to a vehicle……
We all have bad days were are head is full of anxiety. If you must then tie to the front grill and run the rope over the mirror.
As a teen in a hurry my dad plugged the car in and did not run the cord over the 1976 Pinto mirror.
I pulled the light off the side of the house ………while thinking of a 10 blonde……..what if it was a dog tied to that car ????
Smart simple setup. Really nice man. I'm sure he has some very interesting photos.
great watching your vids so far. any link to mark yet?
What a great interview. Have you guys kept in touch with him? Would love to see his photos.
Great Stuff
Did you ever bump into Mark again? Did he finally get a website? Would be interested to know.
Thank you for using Metric Units!
The guy sure loves his heavy duty stuff XD
That generator system is absolute genius lol!! I have never seen that kind of setup before. I was wondering how that was working for fresh air and exhaust lol!! The funny thing is I’m getting ready too leave Newfoundland now!! Leaving around midnight and my final destination is going too be Tuktoyaktuk. I’m going too make videos for YouTube and upload on Instagram every couple of days. I do need too invest in a decent camera tomorrow morning at some point lol. Also probably a new lab top!! I have never done any editing before so I’m gonna have too learn on the fly lol.
