  1. number one one way to end your bliss is to have 3 kids and not only feel tied down but have to deal with all the problems of the typical family plus anything untypical like breast cancer or any other major thing that you just have to deal with. life can get complicated , like it or not. peace be with you.

  2. You guys are great!!! Derrick … if only I was so fortunate to have found such a wonderful partner (and vice versa). Unfortunately I've been divorced nigh onto 20 years now. You two are an inspiration for the younger generation about what is possible and still enjoying life. I wish you both the best as you continue your life journey together.

  3. Oh man, I loved the ending of that video. Made me laugh a lot! 😀
I've actually noticed, that the relationship stays almost the same, when you live together in a van. It just progresses MUCH faster. So you get out of the crush situation faster, but also grow together much faster, accepting and appreciating each other's flaws quicker. Simply because you don't have much of another way to make it work. And I'm really glad, we are doing this 🙂

  4. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful experience with the world. My husband (75) and myself (73) have spent 53 years, two children, many dogs, a few cats, friends and extended family in living life as happily as we could. This era in life gives younger adults the "permission" to explore so many more options than were available to my husband and me when we were your age. I have so enjoyed your travels, your optimism, your humor and the joy that you find In each other and the unexpected and unplanned trials that life places in daily experiences. Thank you again for share so freely with the rest of us.

  5. we have a motorhome and when we go on our main holiday( two weeks ) by day 4 the mrs will by that time hate me..lol…….just watched the video regarding cold weather, here when it go's cold it's nowhere near as bad as your is and my van is freezing we have warm air blower which is useless because one of the vents will kick out cold air to push the hotter air round, sort of making it no where near as hot….but i will be looking to see if that powered blanket thing would be available in the uk,….thanks for the video's ….have fun, regards rich.

  6. haha we had to come up with the same type of daily routine so as not to be in each other's way all the time. Before we came up with that, oh it was so freaking frustrating, and we'd get on each others' nerves all the time! This winter, we decided to give each other some needed space by me going to my dad's to stay warm for the winter. It actually has helped bring us back closer together. We both look forward to the day I return to our itty bitty home! I do like the idea of the goal board. I need to make one. 🙂

  7. You were just a year and a half into a marriage and already earned more wisdom than most would learn in a lifetime. Just why couldn't you be marriage or financial advisers? Still just discovering your videos in '19 but going thru each one sequentially now. Big thumbs up you two!
