Avoid over dosing with boron, it can (will) kill the plants. When working your compost together, coffee grounds will help as they contain magnesium and BORON. Keep in mind borax, and boric acid are used as plant killers. Thank you for a great video, Happy Gardening. (Don't neglect your compost pile)

Boron tablets for you and your garden at w almart pharmacy.
If your soils ph is already high, add an equal amount of gypsum to ash in the mix. It will neutralize the lye in the ash and help make the nutrients more bio available to the roots.

Also add crushed lava rock it provides sclica which is key for cell wall development and strength. Prevent : molds and powder mildew. It’s helped me out.
I know it's been a bit since this video has been on but for the last three seasons I have had incredible tomatoes from using this fertilizer. I don't use the boron though I can't really get it.

Boron = borax, borax is 100% boron.
Would this food also work with other plants too like cucumber and pepper plants?
You can get boron at health food and drug stores. It is sold as a supplement.
I just saw your video with regard to growing tomatoes. I am interested in the watering spikes that you mentioned from gardenersupply. com. I went to their website and I could not find the product as seen in your video. I have found and purchased another type or style of watering picks from Kinsman Company. However I am not satisfied with the technique that is being used. I realize that the watering picks you showed in your video was purchased 5 years prior to your posting in 2016. I was hoping that maybe you still know where more of the watering picks like in your video can be purchased. I live in Mobile, AL so I am thinking that not to long from now I can think about planting some tomatoes. Thanks in advance for your response!

I ordered my Boron off of Amazon.
For Boran, put 1/2 teaspoon of Boric Acid in 1 gallon water and spray plant foliage. Just a one-time application.
