  1. Hey Curtis, interested in the difference between incised salanova vs multi leaf salanova. Can you harvest the multi leaf the same way as you show in the video? Thanks mate

  2. Technically, my salanova incised should be ready by the end of next week, but they still look kind of small compared to what you have there. My black seeded simpson lettuce seems to be growing faster.

  3. I'm concerned that according to my calculations, my salanova should be ready to harvest in a week and they do not look as good as yours Curtis.

  4. Hey Curtis, Can the 'green butter salanova' be harvested this way … I was thinking that the 'green butter' would not re-generate like the 'green crisp salanova' does and this would limit it to one harvest ?????

  5. I noticed in the video that your foot position is slightly turned in when you are bending to cut. Do you do that position purposely to help with back or hip posture. JM speaks about posture from time to time, related to saving your back or knees. I was wondering if you had any thoughts on it since farming is rough on the body if you don't know the right posture?

  6. Curtis I wanted to know how many cuts you get on lettuce and other veggies before it is bitter?
Also will Early wonder beets grow for greens also produce a beet at the end of the season?

  7. Anybody here in a humid environment that has tried growing and harvesting in this way? Will start farming in a environment where the year-around average is 73% RH, in the summer months the monthly average reaches 80%. Can you share us your experiences?

  8. Ha Curtis Jeff from was Australia very informative vid, I have recently least 3arce block to grow veg! I have learnt so much from your work as well as JM, Richard Perkins, Charles dowding, I think it great that you guys take the time to show your work. All I am doing is based on your work and so far going very well!! I do no dig with certified organic compost works very well!! It is very hard to source the equipment you use and of the width of hand tools I can not find in wa. Just like to say great work and you guys have helped thousands of people to make a new start. cheers. If you know of a contact here for equipment would love to know !!!

  9. Hey mate! Just wondering if you have an approx yield per square meter (for summer and winter) for your salanova? Also how many cuts (summer and winter) is the yield based on? Thanks for your time in advance

  10. Can you tell us days to maturity on Salanova. The language on Johnny SEeds site doesn't make any sense. It reads: DAYS TO MATURITY:
For full-size heads in mild temperatures from direct seeding; subtract 10-14 days if transplanting. Note: Maturity can be 3 or more weeks later in cool weather, and up to 1 week earlier in hot weather.

  11. Korean people believe to use your fingers as much as possible the older you get cause it helps with Alzheimer’s.
It keeps your brain sharp and very smart. That’s why you see old ppl gardening.
