  1. Hi Adam. What lovely rich soil you have there! Good idea to re- plant the beetroot to fill in the gaps, they seem to tolerate it ok. Your filming techniques are good as ever. Cheers Adam, speak soon:)

  2. Yep the filming is inventive. Every episode i think your carrying loppers to the plot again! just worked out what they are DUH. Wish i could grow parsnips, love them, but alas my ground is far too stoney. Like you Adam i only like tomatoes cooked in a meal, but i grow a lot for other family members- Guess your dad hopes you will give him your crop – canny old man your dad!

  3. Enjoyable video, Adam! Thanks for showing around. I'm happy to see things are picking up. You had a bit of a difficult start. I love that teepee for the sweetpeas. Elegant. 🙂 I finally found little gem lettuces, yesss! Had to look really hard. I like the look of those and the fact the leaves stand upright instead of sagging onto the soil. I like gritty lettuce as much as anyone. Meaning, not.

  4. Looks like it's time to double your plot size bud.  I'll talk to you on FB.  I have an idea or two that might be helpful.  Thanx for that vid.  One of the best "plant out" vids I've seen in a while.

  5. Your neighbours plot looks almost as bad as yours did when you first took it on! Dam, can you put up any kind of barrier to stop the grass seeds blowing over? Your sweet peas look so healthy! Mine are laughable! Your lupins look lovely. Are you going to save the seeds from them? You got so much done. I love how you frame your shots. It's how I like photography. Is that the infinity sign on your right arm? Do you eat the broad bean tips? I have heard they are really nice but haven't tried them? Great work. You know, the shortest poem ever written goes like this… "Adam had 'em." Jazz.

  6. You did well to day Adam some good progress. I am envious of your 5 finger trowel, I have 2 but the soils not there yet but, still working at it. Regarding the rabbits do you have rabbit proof fences? You have seen my plot and the long grass a constant battle. Cheers Mike B

  7. Hey Adam, the lot is looking good, hopefully the grass and weed seeds won't be too bad. Oh wow, not a fan of tomatoes, what a blow…. lol.  I was able to find the trellis you have for the sweet peas, too bad they are charging more for shipping than the actual trellis itself, I had to pass on it. Guess I will have to make my own again.  TFS and keep growing, T.

  8. Nice camera work Adam. You got it all under control there. I have seen folks using scaffold netting fences between the over grown unattended plots. Our 2nd plot really is hard work this time of year, so your a wise fella for not being tempted.
    Best wishes

  9. it's amazing how much your plot has changed from the very first video, as you walked onto your overgrown run down plot for the first time I would not have imagined that same plot looking the same way that does now !! it's so different it's like chalk and cheese !! full of goodies and you're definitely going to have a bumper harvest this year !! thanks for sharing !! all the best and happy gardening !!

  10. Hey Adam–
Loved the planting out montage and I wish my beets were as healthy-looking as yours! The plot is looking great. I hope you have a lovely weekend working in it.
