VIDEO: GGC – 56 – A Full Tour of Our New Cabin and Property!

After nearly two years in our camper van, we’ve finally saved up enough money and bought ourselves a cabin with some property. In this video, we give a full tour of the cabin, explore the out-buildings, and even walk through the forest and fields where we will eventually start growing our own food.

  1. I sure am getting a late start to your journey… By now you must have kids? Oh my I have lots to catch up on… I am buying something and heading out of CA but I am having to do it solo after losing my parents… A van? And you two did it and I am worried about one. I am thinking full RV with washer and dryer thanks to my mother and father. Bless you!!!

  2. Really nice home and lovely kitchen!! Looks nicer than most log cabins I've seen! Home laundry is the best! If you encounter Sasquatch people, don't freak, be friendly and respectful! Plant some apple trees for them far away from your home!

  3. Perspective with gratitude is sooo very nice to see again ! Bathing in a bathroom sink is a bit of a challenge …until we remember there were millions of folks who would not know the luxury of hot running water and a toilet next to it . Love the transformation to a real home / house. Maybe some day…and I will have an amazing bbq to smoke all the steaks and fish to perfection ! mmmm I can dream …

  4. Very nice, everything you need to get started. So excited for you. We got some land in the Ozarks which my husband and two youngest are going to build on starting in the fall, we are getting an rv and we are going to do a beautiful garden with a few chickens and goats to start out with since there are some things that need chewing down. Enjoy your projects. Take your time! Have fun with it! Keep a weapon on you in the event a dangerous wild animal attacks. Knife, gun or something.

  5. Must be nice to save that much money after travelling round the country. Some of us have to actually have to work for a living and spend our whole lives paying off something like that.

  6. Gotta love daffodils, I get tons of them growing in my garden, living in Wales (UK) it's to be expected hahaha. Im so amazed by your channel its so honest and you can see it means a lot to both of you, and you also see you are both mad over heels for each other. I can't be the only one who's sees that? Love it!

  7. Just found your channel …love the relationship, the property, the excitement, and all the potential ahead of you two. You need to share some of this joy with others by building and renting out maybe some tiny homes for short term vacations. Can you share the general area or location in Canada sometime?

  8. Thats a bit more than the wife and I will need . Our kiddos are soon to be Moms themselves ( 2 or 3 years from now ) . So we only need a 800 sq foot home . Your home is lovely .
