  1. Thank you Curtis! Do you, or anyone else out there, know of metric charts available for seed spacings for the Jang?

Korea is metric after all…but I haven´t found anything online. (easy enough to convert on excel though.) Cheers from Oaxaca.

  2. I just got my seeder today and I was wondering if you felt it best to have the soil moist or dry when using the seeder for better performance?

  3. Hey Curtis. I was noticing that your jang seeder and mine are a little different even though it is the same jp-1. My blade or ground opener has the extra medal piece that is welded on the front of the opener, but yours doesn't. Do you have any idea why the difference even though they are the same seeder and model?

  4. Hey Curtis, sorry these questions keep popping up, but the legend that you show taped to the lid at the 5:30 mark of the video. I have your book and I can't find that legend. Can you tell me the page number?

  5. Curtis, I know you've streamlined your diversity of crops and you may no longer do beets. However, have you figured out a good roller for them yet?I'm trying to eliminate thinning as a task on the farm and am looking for advice on which rollers and sprocket settings to use to not have to thin radish, beets, and carrots… Thanks!

  6. I know this is years ago now, but … about the roller you were trying to mod, did you consider using a countersink bit? Might soften the edges of the holes and make them easier to exit.

  7. theres a knob there so you can adjust the handle left/right so if you have wide beds you can place it more on the side you want to walk on it and not have to lean over the beds to control the seeder
