  1. if dont have the money for somethng like this could I lay pine needles/leaves down the row and burn it to cause a fire and heat the soil only in that particular row? i might try it

  2. Gotta be honest, it looks like the center flame gets WAY more flame that the outer ones, unless they have accounted for that with different diameter holes, which they probably did. Big holes at the end and smaller holes in the middle. Needs electric ignition x5 , even though that would probably be a nightmare because those little electric igniters are always breaking, lol..

  3. I think it also needs a guide wheel on the front because you really want to keep the flame as close to the weeds as possible, also that would enable you to set the heat to a minimum setting. Still a really cool device though!

  4. I'd imagine the front angle adjustment is more to adjust for the height of the operator… so you don't strain your back to have a good base line. It looks well designed.

  5. I'm not a fan of those bungee cords with the tank, I'd probably use a little ratchet strap or some kind of metal strap.

  6. I have played with different size tanks. A larger tank 20lbs vs 10lbs does make a difference in terms of the intensity of the flame and I find it more effective.
