Thank you, thank you for sharing this. I will defiantly be buying some of these. Keep up the great job.
Nice. I just shared this video with my Facebook friends.
Ordering 2 now!
You could do a video all about cast iron cookware, how to use different pieces, how to clean and season, and how to restore the old rusty ones
Patara where can I buy One?
This doesn't mark up the pan at all? I have never had a problem cleaning with just a pot brush after heating the pan to really hot. Just curious. Love the videos.
Hi Patara I know what you mean about cleaning those Lodge cast iron pans they do get things stuck on a bit, to us here Lodge is the new brand of cast iron wear there are other brands that seem to be smoother, most of the Lodge pans have a pebbly/grainy bottom on my old hand me down pans there bottoms are smooth and things do not stick as bad, I have been using my Lodge pans for a few years but they are still pebbly/grainy but they are getting better. The Lodge pans you can still buy and they work, the older pans you need to get them at yard sales n such, but by far if I had to have one pan to cook it would be cast iron and I use what we call kitchen cook stove with cast iron top, perfect and lots of room to move pans around. I also find cleaning the pan as soon as you are done cooking is the slickest way to clean.
I was so impressed I ordered one thanks!
I just added this to my homestead wishlist. I am always on the lookout for cast iron pans at garage sales, goodwill or flea markets. it's my favorite type of pan because it's so versitile
Thanks for the great tip! I will definitely be getting one of these.
Love it! Just ordered mine
I think that would take the place of my scrubber. Have you ever got a small piece of the scrubber in your finger? I think I need this.
Man, you're right about the brushes used to clean CI!! They just get so nasty. I'm gonna get one of these. Did you order it of the maker's website or did you go to Amazon?
That is pretty cool.
Very cool–thanks for letting us know about this product.
I need one of these!!!
Love your videos! They are very informative. Thank you!
Have two sisters with birthdays coming up … Guess what they're getting? (and one for me, the brother who also cooks) Thanks for the tip!
Thanks so much for this. I am a new cast iron owner and I struggle with caring for them
look good to me, and much faster
ingenious !! Love me some cast Iron!!!
i thought that was called a "choreboy"
Yes I have a small collection of vintage cast iron skillets and griddles that I use, and while I still use a plastic scraper and a brush, I primarily use a couple of different sized pieces of chain mail to clean them. Thanks for the video!
I just ordered this from Amazon! So excited to get mine, I have a cast iron dutch oven that is in real need of help. hoping this is the tool that I need.
Mine has a handle on it!
How do u season your cast iron
Miss P, it won't take the season off if you use that scrubber?
I just got mine I love it realy cleans it good doesn't hurt the pan better than a steel wool scrubber and better comes nice and clean the chain mail
