Thats why people came up with the turm…
bird brain. there not too bright. my chickens are no exception.
Have a Jesus filled day

thanks for the vid. in my experience, leghorns are too darn flighty!
Sod that…I can think of a billion things better to be doing than chasing chickens. Mongrals, bullies and dumb asses in my flock are the first to go in the pot!
You've got some nice plump birds there!
I love that… "Be self sufficient in something."
Love you mark!

She has got a bet going with the other birds that she can train the boss to walk around the chicken coop every afternoon.
Your renegade is probably low man on the totem pole. She is avoiding the main flock as well as missing that gate.
I laughed so hard at your stupid pullet. I got a bunch of Cornish X meat bird and one of them is this tiny little runt who thinks she is a duck. She follows my little duck flock around and even nests with them apart from the other chickens. She is the strangest thing. I may just keep her as a pet instead of harvesting her with the rest.
Might be time to eat that one.
Hi Mark, stupid chook!! another great vid mate thanks, how did you get on with that pain in the bum whipper snipper?? Seeya Rob
I have to actually put two of mine on their roosts. One sits on the door as guard chook until Daddy comes and puts her up and then locks the house door.
LOL There's always one that has to drive us crazy! You do that enough, and it may become a habit. LOL I would lock it out and see if she goes in the next time, of course, only if she lives through it. (kidding) Have mercy on the dummy, she may taste great one day. LOL Bless, Sheila
Leghorns are not my favorite.
I have wondered about the same question: Why can some chickens seem so dumb when most are so smart?
There's always one…. with me it usually one of the sassy bantams .
will miss your videos until you come back but I am looking forward to seeing some more of your videos
Have you ever heard of a paw paw tree? I just found out about it, it apparently grows natively near where I live in the US. It makes fruits that taste similar to a banana! Bananas don't grow where I live. I'm wanting to put a couple in my yard now 🙂
She's still smart enough to see you coming and skidattle in… reminds me of my kids …rebels and good at sneakin o.-
We call those birds wrongway's. I almost always have one and they never seem to grow out of it.
I subscribed to your chanel
I subscribed to your channel because I really liked your vegetable gardening. However, after seeing what you said about that poor chicken I see that you're not really an animal lover, seems you have more compassion for your cucumbers. When you went into the pen you didn't even greet the ducks or the chickens. I'm so sad and disappointed, thought I'd found the next Steve Irwin, I guess not
she maybe 'hen pecked'. Bottom of the ladder. She'll catch up. I did notice a couple of figure 14's tho. Ex-grunt perhaps?
I think its cause that hen gets picked on by the other chickens
That one that doesn't go in at first probably isn't dumb she just wants to see if she can make the man chase her.
Is she being stupid or intentionally refusing to go? Until she sees you coming that is.
Try Indian runner ducks, they are huge and flightless, almost like penguins
Throw some whole oats in the chicken feed, they grow as grass
Donno if anyone else noticed something spooky…the weird chicken that doesn't go in with the rest..well when mark goes after it around the cope..at 3:10 if you look carefully what looks like a chicken figure fly from right to left of screen…that chicken is probably possessed…that was chilling to notice.. amazing what the camera can catch
