this is really cool! Thanks for doing this, Curtis (or is it Kurtis?) I'm designing 2 different forms of food forests. 1) with black walnuts, pecans, aronia berries as the crops and for ground cover comfrey, yarrow, lupine, white clover, and perennial rye grads. the 2nd I'm still working on but I know I want to raise pine trees for future lumber, but also to raise pine nuts, including more mulberries and similar ground cover. I'm really interested in raising goats amongst these food forests to keep the weeds and ground cover under control, but have the shrubs and trees heavily protected from the goats :p Idk I'm excited and thanks again!

There is a big need for growing fruit trees beyond organically. His knowledge of growing fruit with out chemicals would be so beneficial.

Where can I hear more of that great music that plays at the intros of some of your uploads?
Sometimes it's not being afraid, it's a money thing. When they're lacking, their credit is bad too, because they couldn't pay their bills on time. Too many 30-day-lates means they're not getting a loan. It's especially bad for those who are loners, and have no friends they can call for help.

At 11:45 I agree with Stefan. I've noticed Lambs Quarter (edible and delicious if you didn't know) only grows in soil that has good fertility. I use that as an indicator that the soil is at least good enough for leafy green and root crop growth and I usually leave the weed be as well 😉

young people have plenty of interest and it is wonderful, sadly for poorer folks who want this life they wont even loan you money for a orchard, they will only help a farm start out if they go for cows pigs chickens and corn, beans and wheat, if you dont want to do that then you will get no help from government. I am glad people like you curtis and stefan are spreading the knowledge of natural/alternate farming and push for methods that produce fresher produce that is chemical free not to mention more beneficial for the environment.
