We eat like this, never know whats gonna be in the soup, so yummy good. Soup for tomorrow for us too.
I'm trying your magic soup conjunction today, left over pot roast, left over ground beef that was tacos and turkey. I have no fresh veggies just onion and bell pepper so I'll be using frozen veggies
Yummy
You cook like me
than my husband say I want chops something solid Not something in a pot LOL Pain in the butt
lol I see you have a quilt block on you barn
that a girl
love your style of cooking, so easy and healthy, crock pot does the job and well. I love my crock pot. I have 3
God you can cook!
more cabin stew, yummy, making me hungry
i'm new to cooking at home TBH, especially with the slow cooker. explain to me like a newbie what exactly was in the crockpot along with the bag of beans. Water, or stock, or broth? Anything else? If there's a vid on how to make hillbilly beans (the base) let me know. TFS!!! LOVE THIS
Love me some beans. Two bowls?? Girl, you better find you and James a mask to sleep in tonight-LOL!!!!!
That is great!
I do that too and never throw out extra gravy, sauce or drippings because it gets put into the next meal.
Winter is always soup weather here. I'll make a meal out of mac & cheese, tomatoes, meat, 3 or four kinds of beans, including red ripper cowpeas, onions, seasoning and have enough to feed 8 people instead of four servings.
I use my imagination in making soups with what I have. Yours looks good.
you cook like my mom does and I love it! eyeball it and go…..
I love beans ty for sharing
im so glad i found your channel
Yummmm This video hit my VIDEO OF THE DAY ~ I love beans! I like how you utilize and cook up left overs for you girls Aloha Kim
I love your spirit!
I am a crockpot lover!
I love to see how far I can stretch things.
I love pinto beans & cornbread too.
I grind up coriander seeds and use that instead of cinnamon, gives it a very different taste when making chili.
My favorite way to eat beans is for breakfast with a couple of fried over medium eggs mixed in………..
What is that that you cut up the potatoes with? It looks like a time saver. Thank you.
My Mama always brought me up with "roast on sunday, cold on monday, stewed on tuesday, casserole thursday, curried friday – food poisoning saturday!" as a rule. If you use curry spices on meat like turmeric, chilli pepper etc it kills the bugs and stretches an extra meal – but always remember not to reheat more than twice, or keep more than 5 days cold (fridge not frozen) or you'll get sick! One roast and some beans or root veggies will last a week like that.
i stretch meals all the time and i use whatever i have left in the fridge to make something. it helps my budget immensely
That soup looks delicious.
I love your videos. And your farm. Thank you for your tips, how tos, and homemade mrals
:")
Pinto beans and corn bread were our staple foods during the winter. I believe we had them every week! We also had potato soup and vegetable soup. We grew all our vegetables, pork and chicken. We didn’t waste anything! Yes, the chickens are always happy to have leftovers! (Pigs love leftovers if you raise pigs). I don’t remember hearing you mention onions, although you did mention garlic. We have “a thing” for onions! Love their taste and texture, so they are in all our soups. Thanks for sharing!
