  1. OMG this happens daily Daily! And can I just say, Gen Z is the worst. They don't care and think of a job as just a hobby. They are not serious about anything and don't take any pride in their work or anything that they do. If I see a Gen Z on an applicatiton, I will NOT hire them at all.

  2. About to have a milk shortage here in Alabama, my main concerns are the schools. For those that don’t know, Borden is shutting down places that will affect many states.

  3. My friend went to a wood-fired pizza business. The young lady burned the pizza completely black with soot. My friend had already paid but refused to take it. The young lady, with her bare hands, proceeded to comb off the soot, messing up the toppings and everything. My friend was horrified and refused to take that. The employee then angrily THREW another pizza into the oven. Of course they lost my friend's future business. We all know that rude, angry service like this is happening everywhere all the time now. I just expect it now!

  4. Had a delivery problem with Lowes too or should I say their subcontractor. Delivery promised 3 different days and I finally cancelled and got a refund.

  5. Went to Verizon to get a new phone as I'd lost mine. I have insurance with them. The associate tried to give me a piece of paper with their claims company's website and phone number. I told her I work at the hospital and need a phone today plus when I've tried to contact them in the past when I had issues with the phone, I get a response that my phone isn't valid for a claim. She just kept insisting that I had to go through Assurion. I said I'm so done with Verizon, I'm going to go to another carrier. She shrugged her shoulders, said Ok AND WALKED AWAY!! Guess what? Went to Walmart and a rep from Straight Talk was there. Nice fella. Answered all our questions and I got a nice new phone for $150 and monthly service, unlimited calls and data for $45/month. As I said, I work in a hospital and man do they drive down customer service on us!! Positive patient satisfaction surveys (thanks, Ovomit) are how we get reimbursed! Maybe that's how more companies should have to operate!!

  6. We purchased a new refrigerator at Home Depot in Houston and it took them 4 deliveries and 3 months to get us one delivered that wasn't damaged. It's everywhere. People just don't care anymore. So sad! They did give us $190 off AFTER we demanded some compensation.

  7. The way things are going, you’re lucky you got an apology. Customer service is absolutely dead. I have no idea how many times this happened to us at Lowes during our remodel. Personally I would have kept that blue bathtub. I would LOVE to have one of those old vintage blue bathrooms.

  8. The atmosphere is harsher, colder, just plain angry! People are struggling, food, fuel, bills! I always use manners, smile, courtesy. Why? Because sometimes it can make someone else’s day just a little bit better!

  9. Had the same problem with Lowe's buying a fridge. I got a refund and bought one at a smaller local business. They hung up on me more than 10 times. They told me the same thing. No fridge ever got here.

  11. I have a T-shirt that says, Choose Kindness, and that's what I try to do. I agree, the people running the business as well as the employees and customers, everyone needs to be a little more patient and work hard to get it right the first time. Wishing you luck on your bathtub. Keeping moving forward !!!

I totally agree, I was in a Walmart recently to get some canning jars and I was having trouble finding them so I asked a young lady who was wearing a Walmart vest and she looked at me perplexed so I repeated what I said and again she looked at me like I was speaking a different language and shrugged her shoulders and walked on.

  13. Yep. Lowes told us they would call the day before delivery. They did call buf never came. I called they said oh it never left the store. Someone will call tomorrow. I called again because they didn't. They said they don't have an order for me. How can that be when I got a call saying they were going to deliver? On and on this went. I finally got my stove but it took awhile.
    Ya go to home depot and they don't know which way is up. Very frustrating.
