  1. guy in previous video says how your fan that blows into the double layer of poly should pipe in dry air from the outside. Otherwise all that water vapor is gonna trap light in there.

  2. One major advantage of using glass or polycarbonate for glazing is that you can install opening windows for ventilation at the bottom and the top.
I would like to hear a little more about the cost effectiveness and efficiency of the climate battery. Maybe you already did that on another video?

  3. Hey Curtis! Love your videos. Very informative, thank you. To cool your green house, have you tried reversing the fan on your heat bank? Underground should be fairly cool. Just a thought.

  4. Wood is about the worst choice for a permanent greenhouse structure, and I think Curtis is starting to figure that out. Nonetheless, I enjoy and appreciate the videos. Great info & well presented. Thanks!

  5. Hey Curtis, have you had any issues with snow load on the double layer poly, or does it just melt right off? Definitely seems more economical and cost effective. l will have to give it a try out here in Alberta, not sure how well it would stand up to hail though.

  6. Those screws are making leaks. You need something to seal around them. Roofers use some butyl product around skylight flashing, and there is also such a product for use around windows and doors. You would do well to look into that.

  7. Curtis, at minimum one should be able to see evil, not crazy, not bad, not different, evil. To believe this life is chance and will end at death is such a hopeless thought. I hope you are touched someday and can have hope that life is eternal and your family can be eternal as well. You help others, and I know it brings you a good feeling when you do it. I'm not going to convert anybody, just hope to plant a seed. Merry christmas

  8. Curtis, would you still say it's overkill in the event of a massive snow event? would the poly hold up under 4' of snow do you think? during any sort of snow event from climate change for example? freak snow. etc

  9. What about a double layer-poly house?
    Save on lighting and heating
and really save on construction costs.
The only thing is you can't have curtains or windows… which is also a saving.

  10. Hi Curtis,
I truly appreciate the videos you do. I might have an idea to help with the condensation, there is a type of farm ventilation that involves inflatable walls made out of poly. When we put does up the blowers are outside and use the muchless humide exterior air to keep the wall up. Now obviously you need to make the system as leak free as possible to avoid actual air circulation in the system, but when properly done the wall stays warm. Here's a link to the product that I am referring to. https://ventec.ca/fr/prod-disp.asp?i=30 Also in a vertical setting as is done on farms, they turn of the blower and let the wall deflate downwards to let fresh air in.
Just thought I'd share any knowledge I could.
    Keep up the amazing work!

  11. The greenhouse is insulated on the bottom as well, right? i wonder what happens to the water that condenses in the climate battery and the drainage from the raised bed

  12. I used ice and water shield on the headers of my greenhouses. Wrap it over the top and sides, keeping it open at the bottom. The ice and water can’t stand up to the light so I covered it with metal trim (any carpenter with a metal brake can do it for you) keep this open at the bottom as well. You then land your roof trusses on top of it. It would still probably be useful to piece it in between the rafters but it is better to do it before the rafters go up.

  13. Cush (Greek: Ethiopia), means sun-burnt
Phoenicians described by the Greeks, as fair-haired, fair-skinned people
Persia means Lord of the Aryans now renamed IRAN
12 Tribes – once the Israelite's were freed from bondage they crossed through the Caucasus Mountains:
    (i)ssac's Sons / Saxons / Anglo-Saxons / Europe / Australia / New Zealand / North America / First World
