  1. I don't know if you have Walmarts in Canada or if they ship to Canada but they carry Rubbermaid "roughneck" totes. they're supposed to be more durable

  2. Curtis, I am prepping to order salad bags but I am not sure how big to order? Also how did you do your label? Like may contain….. and then list everything that may be in there? including micro greens? BTW thanks for al you do we watch your channel so much!

  3. ask bakers where they get their totes, fishermen are a mine of info too.. crab boxes etc. maybe u could trade with one hehe. thx for the vids… Irish

  4. The Goodwill store in my town always seems to have big plastic totes for a couple dollars each. They are usually mismatched and have no lids, but because they're older, maybe they're the tougher ones.

  5. Home Depot has food grade totes completely black FYI I co firmed the plastic they made of are food grade. It's there more expensive completely black with yellow tops one. Gonna buy your book soon thanks Curtis and G-d bless you and the family!!!!

  6. Thanks so much for this video. So helpful!! A couple questions… How did you construct the mesh drying table to fold up and down? Also do you have any cleanliness guideline checklist /best practices kind of thing to follow to ensure food safety to customers?

  7. great video with lots of great suggestions. I have one question. do you use soap in your bubbler, if you do what type, and how do you rinse it off? I guess that's three questions. thanks for all your helpful videos.

  8. Hey Curtis,
I went ahead and replicated what you've got there but I'm getting really cheesed at the mesh laundry bags, as the greens get stuck in the holes and often start to tear. What bags are you using?

I also built the drying table with hardware cloth from Home Depot and I find it to be rather rough on the greens and on my hands. What were your thoughts/solutions there?

  9. Blame Walmart and Sterilite for the drop in quality of Rubbermaid products. For years, Walmart has been using the lower price of Sterilite products as a club to beat Rubbermaid into dropping their prices. Lower prices means reducing the quality of the product that they produce. The only Rubbermaid products that are still worth buying are their commercial line under the 'Brute' name.

  10. Hey Curtis, Im in the planning phase of my post harvest station and plan on using a lot of the advise you have in this video and in your book. One question, what would you say is the ideal size of a wash/package station footprint??

  11. This is so incredibly helpful. I'm a new farmer (buying a property from my brother soon) and I am designing my first harvest wash/pack station. My main crop is blueberries, but what is so valuable about this is it is making me think in terms of systems, and how to customize the workspace for my particular mix of crops. The walk-in coolers are exactly what I have been looking for. Do you know if they also make walk-in freezers with a similar footprint?
