I'm also really interested in his start up costs and what he's been turning over for income. Is he working a job besides the land?
Loving this Curtis Stone Urban farmer knowledge. I have been in northern NZ and in Auckland (which is quit far north in the start of the point of the kiwi 'tropical fruit' country where the average month temperature between summer and winter is very small, less than 9°c from 23-25°c) In winter it does not get lower than 14°C on average. Surely better than Canada 😐 however potentially amazing
Casual slips in "my wife" then grins slightly…Congrats Curtis wish you guys the best!!
He's got kind of a different accent, not really too thick. I like it tho. 😉
Nice visit and interview. But seriously you two appeared less than cordial because of your arms seemed defensively folded. Your cordial tones were undermined by your body language. LOL I hope that it was a man thing !
What does CSA mean?
the music in your videos is great
This guy looks burned out and worn out. Should have just him "so whats been going right ."
What kind of irigation system did he have? Reliable water is an obstacle we deal with in rural farming sites.
Pretty awesome that you can get farming stuff at stores near you. Here in Southern New Jersey, the garden centers cater to hobby gardeners and by now they stop offering anything because "its late in the season". There is one phrase that pisses me off. I am selling at the Farmers Market and producing at least until the end of October. In what way in hell is it late in the season for people like me? It's like garden centers around here don't give a shit about urban farmers or never heard of it and don't care. Makes you wonder…sorry for the rant. By the way, billboard tops? free? more detail please.
That tank top though. Pretty epic
Ha, the city where i live. Truly a global society
A really good wind break for his veggie patch would be a large thick mass of vines surrounding it on fence posts such as passion fruit vines plus they are quite expensive now the old passion fruit so could make a good bit of extra income off them, or grape vines would work equally as well, maybe so blackberries too.
Does he live on the land ?
Thankyou
Im sorry. But I used to know that you live in Canada….???
I love how you guys spread your knowledge and show everyone that you don't half to have to have big trackers to be a profitable farm so cool thank you
i love farming
Lol good.video man
30 Celsius = 86 Fahrenheit
curtis you are so cool and nice. youve taught so many people about so much more than just gardening. youve taught many how to be a real man. thoughtful compassionate honest discerning hardworking. congrats brother
I just leased my first property, put a tractor on credit, bought Ben's and I'm going for it. If you build it they will come, I hope. It's on the freeway I'm going to put a sign on it. Elephant garlic. Little under 6 acers
I'll be watching. I'm just trying to get the experience now, if I make money I'll scale up might get into goji berrys. I got lucky in the stock market, turned 23000 into over 150,000 in 4 years. Trump is ausom
I have some experience with ginsing, little with pot from when I was in Alaska but I don't smoke anymore so well see were it goes.
My largest pot grow was 97 pounds. With leds, trellis, training during vegetative state. Old news
That 97 pounds was after drying and curing it was a lot.
I had all of Whittier alaska high to the max for a year. It was ausom
While I'm here I'll drop a professional stock that will make u alot of money.zdge, that's the stock ticker, I'm up 9000 dollars and in my opinion on walking off with at least 30,000 dollars. I'm serious
I'm going to put another 20,000 in it soon, there's a lot of instatutonal investment money going in and the retail market is going to follow. Would not sell under 25 a share
