When preparing for planting potatoes, we have to decide whether to plant a potato whole or split it. In many cases, a potato has more eyes than is necessary. By splitting these potatoes, we can plant more potatoes and give the growing stems the room they need to grow. Here’s how I decide which potatoes need splitting.

    If you planted 3 uncut potatoes and compared the crop to 6 half-potatoes what is the result

  2. Hi great informative video, I just planted a whole large-sized potato in a small pot that's now sprouted a few tubers. Is it too late for me to separate the tubers to achieve maximum growth? Or can or should I still dig it up and separate the tubers (essentially cut the whole seed potato) and plant the tubers separately?
