Even when the going gets tough, you still have to press forward. I decided to go ahead and start my new strawberry patch this evening. I find working to be therapeutic and after losing our sweet Oliver of 19 years years this week, garden therapy is exactly what I needed. The loss of a beloved pet is tough stuff. Thank you for loving him so much!

Patara, I'm so very sorry to hear about Oliver passing away! I lost my old little kitty Ramsey earlier this last winter. He was my little lover and loved to give love and to be loved on. Again, I'm so sorry about Oliver passing away! Our fur babies are just more of our kids. I'm sending you a big hug & love.
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my cat Kee Kee the Kollectible Kitty a year ago last January, from a blocked ureter. The vet said that with male cats it can happen so quickly that by he time you figure out what is wrong, it is already too late. Kee Kee was only six but he had lived a very adventurous life and was my best friend. I still think I see him out of the corner of my eye as I move around the house. I have a slide show of him on my channel.
So sorry about Oliver. I had an Oliver too. He was a beautiful fluffy gray and white boy. He disappeared. Not sure what happened to him. 🙁

do u add pine needles to bring up soil acidity
i dont have much luck with strawberries
i have alot of areas of full sun or partial north side of house get alot of shade
my soil is mainly clay w a few inches of topsoil
i have NOT done Back to Eden yet or mulch method but WILL be doing it this year

So sorry for your loss of Oliver. My Katie (tabby cat) is about the same age and not in very good shape going into Winter. This one hits close to home. RIP Oliver
We know exactly how you feel. We watched our cat Toby be born. He was with us for 20 years! We were with him when he died. He is buried out under the oak trees at the side of our yard. He rests with several of our beloved animals. Our hearts go out to your family. It is truly like losing a person when they have been in the family so long. They were our friends. Patara, I am so very sorry about Oliver. I had a Momma Kitty that was about 20 when she passed. They become like family and knowing their lives were full helps. I agree, gardening is therapy.
I'm just now seeing this. So sorry about your cat. I had a cat like that. I think someone dumped him out onto one of our driveways. I think I was 7-8 yrs old. My daddy let me keep him. We nursed him back to health. I named him Tom. He was my best friend. I believe our Heavenly Father keeps the animals that we love with him when they die. I know he's keeping Tom for me until I go to be with him . Love your videos. Keep them coming. I'm gonna make Magic soup ! Yaay!! Be blessed. Shalom
