How to assemble a raised bed garden in less than 5 minutes with no tools. This isn’t a scam or a joke, and I am blown away. We actually got these for $10 at Walmart last fall when the gardening stuff was on clearance. Here is a link to a slightly larger one than we are building but they have so many more options! – http://amzn.to/2oZQrp5

Pay attention people! Why even bother watching his videos if you're not listening to what he has to say? Less than 2 minutes into the video, he explains where and when he purchased these beds! How irritating it must be to have a bunch of dorks asking the same questions over and over. You are definitely not into gardening if you can't pay attention longer than 90 seconds!
this bed attracts termites
move them away from the window, add a trellis to those back boards and grow some vines. Nice job.
My wife and I bought some raised modular beds like these about 10 years ago, and they were great.
If you bought two of these you could have nice looking area for fruit trees as well.
I would be wanting to place this on my cement patio. Would that work? Or would it not allow the water to drain properly?
I live in Detroit. When is "end of season" exactly?
MIgardener would you say it's cheaper to buy the Greene's fencing through their website and customizing your sizes or cheaper to build them from pine yourself?
Hmmm walmart? Ok, i'll have to check them out next fall. Is early october good timing?
So I got raised bed from the same company at Walmart online based on the reviews and price. The one I got are Size: 42"L x 42"W x 6"H I’m also in zone 6b. Do you think those raised bed (without stacking them like you) will it work for cucumbers, zucchini, bell pepper, tomato, sugar snap peas? I wanted to do a back to eden on those raised bed
Costco sells a modular plastic set, $65, for 2 – 4'x4' beds or 1 – 4'x12' (it's modilar) and the boards are 10 or 12", cant remember.
Luke love the video.. I do allot of raised bed gardening. 12" to 16 " is much safer for plants to run deep.
paper thin wood will have you replacing them pretty quickly
I love this company! I have many off these raised beds. I try to find them on clearance also. I got some awesome steals this year at Walmart also! They also send replacement parts without hassle which is wonderful!
Take out two center boards and make the whole thing longer with those 4 extra pieces!
Those top post caps are not just decorative. They will stop rainwater and dirt from going into the end grain of the posts and prematurely rotting them. If you buy these kits you should use them. If you build your own beds and use corner posts, make sure to cap them. This kit is a great idea to get people started growing their own food! Thanks for posting this.
omgomgomgomgomg, thank you. this is exactly the solution i needed for my garden on a granite ledge!
Love it!! Here’s another less expensive way another YouTube user posted

3rd year mine fell apart and rotted
Grown up Lincoln Logs!!!!
Using a rubber mallet is a no brainer. The price is misleading if you spend $30 per bed and have 4 beds you've spent really $120 not $30
I can’t believe this! While watching all sorts of folk building various raised beds (we’re 1st time gardeners), I mentioned to my husband why not build one without nails/screws using a slot method. I never dreamed I’d see the actual result of my vision and yet here it is! I’m a 73 yr old whose challenging myself to grow our own food. We’re trying 2 methods of growing potatoes, container vs Ruth Stout method. Can’t wait to get my seeds planted. We enjoy your videos!
Have 6 of these and they have held up very well over 4 seasons. Would buy again! Also bought compost bin set, works great, too.
Wow
4 years later, linked amazon product is no longer available.
It's good to see the Stodoys has new Instructions to save my money and energy to build it.
This type of bed will rot in a few years (I had a few). To extend the life span, here is the hack you can do:
Drive a few feet of rebar to each corner. To make it strongest, you can drive 1 rebar to each side pole and 2 for the corner pole. The grove will fit in the rebar pretty well.
The reason is the only thing holding the bed together are those groves and the weight of soil, over time, will eventually break some weaker grove.
On year 3, I start adding rebars on my bed, and also has to enforce some broken connections with metal brackets. Now I need to repair few more panels.
If you get garden bed now, look for Vinyl alternative unless you can get good deal like this video.
