  1. I bought garlic from a catalog, planted them in the fall and not one came up. I have to plant in the spring in Iowa and harvest in the fall. They are beautiful bulbs. Where are you located and what kind do you plant? Thank you.

  2. We have so much garlic that we put it in piles. I spreads easily with those nodes on the main bulb. We harvest it whenever we want, early or late. When taken early some of the stalk can be used as one would a leek.

  3. Which country are u from? I’m planting a pot don’t know how many times watering ? Im from india south part. I used be lived FL USA. But there is not much plantings Garlic. Onion, orange, jalapeño, strawberry…..etc growing well.

  4. Hey I'm new here. This was really good. I planted my garlic for the 1st time this year. I planted it in March. I hope it still turns out. I guess it's a learning year for me. God bless you and yours

  5. Let me tell ya a secret, garlic is a perennial plant! I leave a patch of four square meters every year untouched in the ground, if you do that the next year you'll have shoots ready to plant as well as seed when the garlic flowers towards the end of its cycle. If you leave a patch like that it will become a mother constantly providing you with shoots for planting year after year, never having to save cloves for seed, the patch will double up every year so make sure you pick your shoots!

  6. Oh! Another "cure in the dark" veggie?? Ack!! I've cured mine in my tiny greenhouse, as it was the only dry "storage" place I have. I don't have a place that's dark to cure things, which is why I no longer grow potatoes….

  7. I live in Michigan and planted some old garlic I had laying around today. Will they be ok or should I pull them out and wait a couple more months to plant them?

  8. The weather in Malaysia is hot and rainy all the year round. If not every day then it rains the next day when the temperature is a little higher. Can garlic be grown here and how long does it take to get the crop ready from cultivation? Please reply
