We are in our home orchard today harvesting peaches! We can’t get enough of these and the flavor is simply amazing. We decided to pull them all off and get them ready for winter.

Gotta question for ya – I have the same thing in my yard. I bought the house with a mature peach tree in the backyard – it fruits every year but the fruit never matures. It falls off green and hard about the size of a ping pong ball. Do you think I need to prune it? Appreciate the video! Thanks! -Sam.
Which fertilizer do you use? How do you keep away?
A healthy tree protects itself, what do u do to make your tree healthy?

I’ve been very serious about organic gardening for many years but I thought that fruit trees were bound to have bugs and diseases without at least using dormant oil or something. Thank you for clarifying what I suspected….that healthy plants can fight these things without intervention, other than regular organic support of lots of compost, etc. I almost killed a peach tree by trying to spray it with something (I think that’s what did it) it died down to the rootstock so the rootstock grew but I think the graft died and it’s now a wild monster of a tree with Little Rock hard green peaches that are so far inedible.
The peaches song is playing in my head
