What gardening zone are you in?
What is your spray program?
Hi James, I know this is an old video, so you might not see this comment. I remember you mentioned on Kevin's podcast which nursery you buy your trees from but I can't seem to find the episode. Where do you get your trees? Love your energy and your super informative videos.
Thank you James! I'm planting a peach tree this year, and came to you first, knowing you'd have helpful info. I hope to grow beautiful peaches like yours!
p.s. Have you noticed that many of the best fruits start with the letter P? Peaches, plums, pears, and persimmons (my favorite!) Based on your recommendation, I want to try paw paws too!
In Texas, it's always been my experience that freestone peaches are easier to eat, but clingstone peaches are far superior in flavor, texture, and juicyness
What is your spray program for peaches? organic?
We have peaches also in the tropics. High elevation in the tropics!!
Thanks for the help
We are starting some peaches this year. Thanks for the advice. God bless you!
Peaches produce on 1s and 2nd year wood only! Heavy pruning will keep the fruit low and allow sunlight into the tree
Delay flowering time
Standard spacing 15-20'
Only produce few years
More trees=better pollination
Standard=yellow
Well Drained! Soil
Roots = not too deep
Must have thick mulch!
Thin out fruit while they're green
Open branches=less fungus
Pulling off fresh growth
Harvesting:
Look up your variety to know best times/practices

Keep planting new trees to always have peaches (for when first trees stop producing)
I realize this is a few years later but just moved into a house in Salt Lake City with a peach tree in the winter. It has just started to make fruit now. How do I figure out what kind of peach it is?
How what time of peach tree sprey aganist leaf curls dieases?
At is amozing story about peaches. nice

I have a question kind of about the growing and harvesting. Every time I go to the store to buy them they're hard as rock and nasty. I've tried letting them sit and they rot before ripening. Is this the growers fault not waiting long enough to harvest? Or is there something I can do I am not doing right. Anyone?
Thank you so much for this great video. Beautiful peach trees.
I have two questions for James or anyone on this comment thread…. 1. Can you plant peach trees in late July/early August? ( I am in western NC) 2. I have a bare root tree that I planted last year (3/4 in trunk). Is it ok if I move it to a different location and when is the best time of year to do this? Thanks so much!!
hello from France,
Please tell me how I can preserve the peach stones that I have eaten in July until the month of March to plant them,
in water or in the freezer Please answer me.

Dam James your enthusiasm has really changed over 4 years on YouTube
I purchased a small peach tree from a friend in a pot but it has two main stems growing, should I sacrifice one and cut it in order to give the other full growing capacity or leave it as is? Also should I transfer it over into the ground or could I grow it in a bigger pot? It’s about 4 years old, 2 feet tall.
Can I just propagate off fruiting tree instead of planting more seeds
Can you tell me if the Peaches grows in Washington states (Kitsap County)
