  1. have you thought about being intentional on what type of fungus you're farming? you can add another layer to your forest by inoculating your forest, in right locations, with different types of fungus that are easily identifiable. You could forage for mushrooms in your own back yard!

  2. Have you thought about growing a jujube tree, i too live in ocean county. I have 2 jujube trees. I absolutely love them. Disease resistant and cold hardy. And delicious

  3. Started researching permaculture gardening and I stumbled upon you. I feel so incredibly inspired! Your home is beautiful, as are you and tuck 🙂 I was crackin' up at him diggin' out his own carrot snacks lol!

  4. Ive never tried thai eggplant, but one of the ways i cook eggplant is chunky veggie marinara.
    I use :
Fresh peeled tom, fresh onion, garlic, zuccini, carrots, mushrooms tons of fresh basil.
I turn the tomatoes into a small amount of red sauce then i start adding my veggies. Some require partial cooking first so they can all come out cooked properly. Mine is mostly veggies in a red sauce base. Its not a sauce in the traditional sense its more like the sauce dresses the veggies. Super good with penne pasta, green salad, cheesy herbed garlic bread and the right red wine. Bon appatite (sorry im a horrible speller.

  5. Really enjoying all your amazing videos. I have learned so much and vey inspired to grow our food forest. We live in Hawaii zone 7 we have a great growing season.
