“Look at that cute deer” is words I haven’t said since I started gardening at my current home, where deer will wander into our GATED URBAN backyard! Our local deer are so tame, that I worry about them attacking my small children, because they will stand their ground even against cars, lol.
Our main garden pests are deer and quail. We have resigned ourselves to them in the front yard, where they eat our walking onions, of all things. But we do our best to protect the back garden. Fall and spring are especially bad, because they are looking for food that isn’t as prolific in the mountains around us.
Join Serina and Ian as they complain about their run ins with the wildlife this fall, and talk about some tricks for dealing with them (like remembering to keep our gate shut, lol)
