is it a green farm and you recycle the water
Curtis jm's set up is amazing, in all areas. its similar to yours but on a much grander scale. is there any ideas you'll be taking and adding to your farm?
I REALLY LIKE JM'S JACKET. what make is that
Great set-up, brings up options and little things that people don't always think about when building up their operation. Appreciate the comment about planning for the "older" farmer.
God bless him but I wouldn't want to do that much volume. After a certain volume, it's running you instead of vice versa.
How does JM dry his greens after going through the spinners?
I totally agree with him. I'm 41 and I want to continue doing what we do for a long time. Anything that makes things easier and more efficient is worth while.
500lbs/$20,000 = $40/Lb ? Well Done. What's the secret?
The washing bubbler looks like a half dairy milk tank. Having grown up with dairy farmers, it would be a perfect way to reuse those abandoned milk tanks, which are all stainless steel. Really cool set up!
JM killing it. Such an efficient and clean station.
Efficiency is the name of the game.
Diego touched on something in this in one of his podcasts with one of his guests, running the numbers & focusing on efficiency on all farm sizes is vital for success. The guest said that his family farm, as successful as it was, should have been focusing on process that increased efficiency. Rolling an order on to a truck is a perfect example of being efficient.
I love JMF's book, but all this coverage of what is now a fairly large commercial operation isn't of much use to me. Somewhat interesting, but prefer your operation tbh.
Great series of videos. Have learned a lot. Like your short punchy format.
Dead Cat in a Parking Lot great choice 😉
epic indeed
Love the music vibes on your channel
Looks like he has done some Lean (Toyota Production System) working in that room and the processes that they are doing through there. Interesting that the hose and sprayer don't have a hook. He looks like he's looking for a better way to set it up. He sounds exhausted though. Was that the farm doing it or he and Curtis having a late night?
another great video guys showing us Jean Martin Fortier's Epic Post Harvest Station and distribution area !! thanks for sharing
would ultrasonic along with air bubbles be an effective upgrade to the bubbler?
Hi, not sure if anyone has already asked this, but where in the world can I find those blue high pressure spray guns? Thanks in advance!
I'm so glad I saw this, its really going to help me as I expand.
Epic set up Jean, great going!
that fella always looks tired…..
What is the name of the bubbler?
The basin?
Trying to source one
Do you Not use a drying table after the spinner, for greens?
That is a sinister wash and pack! Just picked up our first Maytag washing machine today. Can't wait to get hacking! Thanks for the great content brother! You are an inspiration!
Hi! Can you please tell us what sanitizer do they use to wash the greens in the bubbler?
