  1. Curtis, thanks for your help. I planted 1600 sq ft of spinach in September and am selling to a few customers now. Planning on doubling in the spring. Wouldn’t have started without your info. Thanks!

  2. Hi, Curtis. I'm a software engineer, with exactly zero chance of getting into farming for a living. I just watch your videos because they're brilliant. This one especially, but they're all so well done and interesting.

  3. Hi Curtis, Great videos man and some awesome in depth knowledge you have and thank you for sharing with us all. I own a Half acre town section in a small town of around 3500 people, i want to do something with this land so i can sell fresh organic produce to the town and surrounding towns, as far as i know no one is selling fresh produce from there properties directly in town and i think there will be a great demand for fresh produce here where i live, most if not all grocery items i.e vege and meat and everything else is shipped into my town as the two big citys with ports are 3 and 4 hours away, we have another medium size town an hour away and handuls of small towns in the region, our town has a weekend market and also a weekend market at Fox River (between my town and the neighbouring town ) which can get quite busy. I am planning to install two 10 meter by 3 meter tunnel houses feed by an Aqua Culture system (Grass Carp) and then a 3rd tunnel house in the future, also one of my 4 rooms in the house will have some sort of Micro Green operation. what are your views on this, do you think i could make a living off the area with 3 tunnel houses and a decent micro green setup? I Have a budget of around 8k NZD Look forward to some input from you, youre a big inspiration! Thanks Curtis

  4. How does anyone dislike this video much less comment negative thoughtless garbage? I need answers. Thank you for not charging money for this Curtis, you’re like the Tesla of farming. And you have the patience of my grandmother.

  5. Hey Curtis, I’m a farmers son but never grew anything but vegetables for home a few neabors. I know how to grow killer plants!! I know how to read/follow P&L management !!! Listening to you has made me reconsider getting back into it my friend !!! Thank you for that….

  6. Great information. The 80/20 principle is very important. I am an undertaker. Early on, my business came from new customers. Now returning customers are far more productive than new customers. I took good care once and people return. Derailment is a killer. I learned that with my business. My masters in management and the one in business has really paid off. The idea is to count the money. I made very little embalming. I made more doing funerals. I decided to do less embalming and do more funerals. I made more and had more time off. How great was that? My business was different than raising vegetables, but I think the basic principles are about the same. You never gave a second chance to make a first impression. Getting things perfect IS SUBJECTIVE. I hope to try to grow vegetables in The Philippines using some of your methods. God bless! Thanks for sharing your vast knowledge.

  7. I'm getting agrivated that large organic is deforesting heavy. Put a crew in the woods a year later cleared rooted and certified organic. Organic requirements are opening the door to to deforestation for fast certified land ,and traditional farm land sitting fallow.

  8. Thank you Mr. Curtis, you are a business principles genius with a delivery that is friendly and relatable.
I'm an old dog thinking about changing professions to farming on my hilly 6 acre suburban plot in Western PA USA. Will be ordering your book today.
