  1. we adopted a stray, Izzie. She was starving, thin, and pregnant! We didn't realize this until week 3-4. We still have her after 12 years and kept one kitten, Chubbs. She's been a wonderful part of our home!

  2. As a rescuer and fosterer of many many cats (particularly special needs kittens and cats), with 10 currently in residence, and a person who works to TNR (trap, neuter, release) feral cats and colonies, Bless You. Personally, taking one look at that cat and I agree that her name is Miss Mia. That young boy had great perception and understanding and so did you by picking up his thoughts.
Again, Bless You and I look forward to more with Miss Mia.
Edit/Add: Calicos and Torties have special attitudes, be prepared.

  3. I am jealous yet proud for you. Our cats through the years have always been young when we rescued them. We had them spayed or neutered, and cared for them well enough that they each lived to an old age before passing. I've always said that IF we get another, I want a calico. That is a very nice Christmas gift there, and more than one was blessed. 🙂

  4. Its so funny how animals just coming into our lives. My father found 2 kittens on our property on thanksgiving about 4 years ago. He said they would need to find homes but one is still here (her sister was attacked by a predator early one morning and didnt make it). But animals really do know u are trying to help

  5. I know this is an older video, but I just wanted to say how much I love your channel and how affectionate you are with your animals, especially your cats! I’m currently in the city but dreaming of homesteading life and your videos are very inspirational to me!
