  1. Thanks for not de clawling her either you have things in your home, so they can scratch on. I take our cat in every 6 weeks to clip her nails, they grow so long and fast as soon as May, is here I stop because she goes out with me to garden and yard and she wears her claws down for the summer months.

  2. I totally agree with everything you said. I live in a RV park & there are an increasing number of cats. I wish I could catch them & take them to be spayed & neutered. For me transportation is an issue & I don't have room to keep them after while they heal. God bless you for bringing this issue to the attention of your viewers. P.S. Miss Mia is beautiful.

  3. Best wishes for Mia during her recovery. I have every cat that shows up here neutered. (People like to dump them off "in the country", so I end up with extra barn cats quite often.)

  4. 1.2 MILLION dogs, and 1.4 MILLION cats euthanized each year. This is an extremely important message Patara. Thanks for putting it out there. Part of the reason I watch your channel is because of how well you take care of your critters. Some of the channels make me sick with skinny animals and sub standard shelters.

  5. Spay, Neuter and please adopt…So many loving animals never get the chance to share their love with a forever family…You are wonderful Patara great pet owner and shepard of your farm animals

  6. Thank you for stressing the importance of neuter and spay of animals. It’s wonderful to see responsible pet owners. I get so sad when thinking of euthanasia, when so many purchase animals. We believe in rescue and it always seems to be a gift for us as well as the animal.
We rescued our last dog two years ago and we love him so much.

  7. THANK YOU, SOOOOO MUCH, for using your platform to spread this message! It is so important to spay/neuter. Also, just to touch on the subject…. if everyone vet assisted with declawing, as I have, it would be illegal.

  8. That is a very important message. There is a no kill shelter up the street from me in my little town and they have 100 cats. It is crazy. 2 years ago I had one stray barn cat. Last year she had kittens and 2 kittens ended up hanging around and they both had litters this year. So I carefully trapped all 6 kittens and one mama and got them all spayed and neutered before things got out of hand (well it really is already out of hand). Could not catch the other mama so we will see what happens this year.

  9. PREACH IT! There are low-cost clinics that will spay and neuter for very little money and will usually work with those who can't afford that. As someone who has helped manage feral cat colonies, I appreciate your mention of this, Patara. God bless you for saying it again. ~ Lisa

  10. Adopt don't shop (unless you have a specific need of course) then spay and neuter! This really does show how good you are to you animals and to the unfix animals they my come across one day with the ole moon is shining and romance is in the air! Thank you Patara to remind people often and with such kindness!

  11. I love that you aren't declawing. And that's the end of it. You have such wonderful love for all your animals, I can hardly wait to gain some land grow my animal family!

  12. All my cats and dogs are fixed even the stray I took in a few months ago with a bad eye. I had my son take her to the vet for me. The vet said the eye had to be removed. Now to get my vet bill paid back off having the last one's eye removed, spayed, and shots.

  13. I'm excited found a low spay and nuetur rescue organization.. And will be spaying all our cats and one dog in march and April. Cheap! Regular vets around here are $360..oo plus per animal.

  14. Yes spay and neuter and I can't understand, for the life of me, why anyone would declaw a cat. It is inhumane, and painful. I had at one time 12 cats and they were all spayed and neutered. Old age has hit and I lost my 17 year old cat and a few others with health problems. Aren't cats wonderful. I love them so so much.
