  1. I couldn't be happier for you! Especially considering where the rabbits came from. I've been watching both of y'all for years now! Oh, the standard Rex, wow, you sure started out right! I live in Ohio also and I hope that when you do make it, you both may consider doing a 'meet and greet' or something similar…? Just gotta put that out there! Congrats on the new darlings, you're sure to be impressed! We raise French Angora, Lionheads and meat rabbits here (Cali's and NZ) and I've dabbled in mini Rex, but the standard are NOT easy to come by. Thanks so much for all the wonderful videos! That goes to you and JNull0, and God Bless you both! Much love and appreciation from Pataskala!

  2. John and Roxy are beautiful! We have a chocolate otter mini rex buck named Danny and "velvet" is the word I would use for his fur. 🙂 Excited to see babies! Thank you for sharin'. 🙂

  3. If you need any help with the conference setup my wife and I would be glad to help. We live super close to Hider Burkes and my wife works around the corner at All About Pets grooming and boarding facility. We had a great time at last years event and look forward to the 2018 conference!

  4. I love your videos! All the best as you venture ahead with the rabbits. Love their names too. I have a Miss Foxy Roxy but she's a cat, a tortoiseshell, had her for 10 years now. I love your Mr. Peaches too. Maggie

  5. The only rabbit advice I'll give is to look up myxomatosis. I raised rabbits for years and it is heart breaking when an infected mosquito bites one of your rabbits. I don't have the heart to raise them any more. Now I lure wild rabbits into the yard with comfrey and other goodies that help them make and spread pellets around my fruit trees. 🙂

  6. I agree with Colleen below, watch their feet. We have been raising rabbits for some years now, for 4h. Don't feed them iceburg lettuce either. Good luck with this new adventure.

  7. Congrats on the rabbits! Standard Rex are wonderful. Have raised rabbits for 35+ years in many breeds. You will enjoy them, especially when you first see those wriggling babies in the next box and when they first open their eyes and start exploring! We're expanding into quail, which IS a new adventure for us.
