Hello sir… I wanted to ask you something… Today I got some lettuce leaves delivered from market but they have these small bumps on the midrib of the leaves… Could you please tell me what can be the cause for that? Are they safe to eat? They also taste bitter so, is it fixable?

Pls dont use gravels as it has difficulty in reusing the old soil. Try coconut coirs which can be easily removed for reusing the soil mix.
