Do you ever cut your seed potatoes in half?
I have problems with pests are there any good tips on humanely keeping them away??

On my potato’s the green foliage some is growing faster than the other plants in the same pot am I still able to earth up even though some of the smaller shoots will be covered?
Its still cold here in the midlands can I still plant them in containers?
I used a sack and put some potatoes in it with soil on. No idea if it will work but I will update you when the season is over.

Hi Ben, we planted 7 rows of potatoes. 3 rows were in their own plot and did poorly, 2 rows were planted with a row of bush beans in the center but only the beans at the end of the row sprouted and that section of potatoes did ok. The last 2 rows of potatoes that we planted with bush beans down the center did incredible! There were more potatoes per plant and the size was 4-5 times bigger than the others. We decided the only way to plant potatoes is with bush beans! Those beans did phenomenal as well!
I used organic store bought potatoes. Was told they weren't sprayed with any sprout inhibitor. Worked fairly good for my first try.
How many potatoes should you expect from 1 plant?

Never seen more of a tory in my life
I made a big mistake by cutting off the foliage late summer on 2nd earlies and main crop, then completely forgetting and leaving them in the pots for over a month. Some have come to the surface and started turning green. Can I still harvest the rest without issues or should I just get rid of the lot. Keeping in mind these were my last few pots, I have managed all the other pots no problem, with harvesting them in time and have turned out beautiful. It's just these last few pots I'm concerned about and need advise on please.

My grandfather used to cut the potatos in half when planting them and he used his Farmall cub tractor to hill them when he had alot of them.
