The kale wants to go to seed, but I want to eat it. So I compromise and eat the kale flower buds, which are actually really delicious. I am cooking them with a really simple recipe, that even horrible chefs like me can pull off, by drowning them in oil, salt and pepper, and baking them till they start to crisp up.
