Soil Blocks are a great way to grow seedlings for your flowers and veggies, without the use of plastic trays or pots. We make so many soil blocks, and grow so many seedlings in them, that it is safe to say we are professionals in the art of soil blocking, and in this video we show you how to succeed at the art of making soil blocks. We cover things like the proper amount of moisture in your potting soil, the recipe and ingredients we use to make soil blocks, the technique we use and proper amount of pressure required. After watching this video, you will be very smart and very cool, so watch to the end and give us a thumbs up (it really helps us out, since our comments were permanently turned off).

  1. How do these work for a seedling sale? Do customers just take them home as is in a block or do you put them in maybe a paper pot and they get sold that way?

  2. The biggest tip, buy the original Ladbrooke soil block tool, don't buy the Chinese knockoff. They look similar, but the Ladrooke is SO much better, easier to use and lasts longer, from a guy who makes 1,000's of soil blocks.

  3. The mini’s are great for poor germ crops. That way you don’t make a ton of large blocks that just go to waste. Albeit large pumpkin seeds are obviously a no go but for lettuces or older seeds etc they work great.
