  1. The function of the LED and music must have been to annoy the worms so that the would drill down into the soil to make harvesting easier.

  2. IF it was important to you (I suspect it's not, but it may be to one of your viewers), the rust ring could be removed with a vinegar and water solution. It also works on indoor plumbing fixtures, if you have rust stains there, too. There's a lot of videos out there about rust stain removal.

  3. Thanks for your vid. Discovered the other day when reshuffling the 2 cubic yards of compost, I had a wormery, 1000's of red wrigglers. You triggered me to place the empty hardware cloth bin right against the full, old one. With only 3 gallons of kitchen scraps and garden waste per week i hope to lure them into the new bin. In order to minimize the loss of nutrients I will cover the bottom of the bin (pavers) with some layers of cardboard. After some time time I can harvest the compost and castngs from the old bin. The uncomposted stuff remaining after sifting, I will use to cover the fresh scraps and waste. Great vid, lightshow for the worms, LOL.

  4. I did the same with an IBC, what I did was put cement block inside. Then I put the top I cut out the top of the IBC on the blocks, allowing placs for the soil to wick up the side. Next I set this bin out side to where the rain would run into the bin and run out the drain. I never have to do anything to the bin as the water wicks up the bottom, the run off from the rain goes into where my other wicking beds are automagically every rain. I dump my compost on top and it disappears fast.

  5. Hi Mark, guess the worms are happier with the light show, jk, lol…
Where did you order your EWs from? I'm pleased with the earthworm castings and composted leaves as well..great results! Thankyou for ur vids, love the humor..God bless.

  6. Do you have a follow up on this video? How have the worms done here. How much casting do you get? Love your videos and this was especially good.
