Nice one Huw. I prefer to water in the early morning if possible (and if I'm awake!) just because evening watering can encourage slug activity.

Do you ever get fungal diseases when using overhead sprinklers?
Is it bad to water at night of there is frost predicted?
I always used to water in the evening after getting back from work. I now get up and water early in the morning….I've less slug and snail damage which is a massive bonus! Great vid. Marty.

The time of day is mostly relevant if you're overhead watering. In my climate, overhead watering is wasteful so i have to use dripper hose and, being off grid, we water during the times of day when we have solar power to run the pumps
