  1. Hey, i love your channel. This year i'm gonna have a lot more wigwams as I came up with a no dig way of popping them in a meadow to save space in my raised beds and have them naturally surrounded by wild flowers. The bamboo sticks will be placed inside about 20cm high ring of cardboard, which then will be filled with compost. Haven't seen it anywhere before and i'm quite chuffed;)

  2. I’m glad I watched this before planting my beans! I’ve been soaking them for 24 hours. I’m going to start them in my greenhouse instead of direct sowing. I’m in the Texas high desert. It’s still 30 degrees f at night and 60 during the day in February.

  3. I grow mine in a 3' x 10' raised bed. More than we can eat, so we blanch and freeze the extras. We have found that the green beans freeze better than the yellow; a real treat in the middle of winter. This year, I am trying yellow and green pole beans for the first time, wish me luck!

  4. The beans are growing at a tremendous pace, but they are not flowering and reaching 2 month grow time 🙁
I'll pinch of the tops and see if I need to add potassium (K).

  5. I use a method similar to the tipi. Old beach umbrellas that have lost their canvas make for a great base for beans to climb. You just need to add a string/rope startin from each end of the umbrella to the ground.

  6. I'm a beginner. But, if you pick them green, are you getting the bean inside the pod? Or are you eating the pod? I want the bean inside. Do I leave the pods to dry?
