Hey Yall WE just did our first Vertical Gardening This summer we learn alot from yall Thanks for being there Oh yea our garden is still producing veggies let them vines climb Keep doing what yall do. Good Luck In S.C
I am growing Thompson seedless grapes, and miniature watermelons vertically, however it is hotter here in Simi Valley, Ca than normal this time of year(August) I have grapes, and I have melons but the heat is turning some of the vines, and leaves brown. I am losing a few of the melons here and there. Is it just the heat, or am I missing something.
How can we plan vertical method for sweet potato, without compromising on production as it otherwise consume lot of garden space
Absolutely loved this vidio !!!
Nice women good explanation !!!
Thanks.
Do you think vertical gardening produces as much fruit as traditional?
this is something I am SO excited about and looking forward to
You rock! If I hadn't done some research already, I could not say your spot on. My advise to anyone seeing this comment and starting to research START HERE. She touched on multiple factors that otherwise. you may spend hours researching. If it can be trellised and you plan to garden year after year, cartel panels are the way to go your vid was very enjoyable too.
Everything im looking for cattle panels I do not see the panels you guys have. Is there a different terminology or name that I should be searching for these under ?
I have spent months trying to figure out how to.. for so many things in the garden. I grew up in my dad's garden, helping, learning. My bro spent the 80's at the computer studying to be a Dr at age 7. I did pots ony apt porch and flowers and herbs great, but it made my cry. Although I didn't walk on my own for over 2 years, and when I got the place I'm now in 3 yrs ago, my bf bought me a shovel 2 wks after my last pelvis surgery. I dug and dug on crutches for months. I still dig for rototilling every year bc unlike u, he won't even carry a bag of soil from garage to my garden. I thought my Dad, born in 1949 knew everything from his parents and them from their parents, but have searched for someone on here to understand and actually take anything I didn't know away. You have no idea how much you have helped me. Ty ty ty ty . I normally am not a fan of women bc they are just annoying. YOU ARE LIKE MY IDK, Im not religious bc hopefully anyone who gardens should understand nature should be what anyone should worship. Without sun and soil, we'd be dead. So, you're my goddess. Ty for being smart, adorable, and likable. I really really love that u taught me about how a seed survives your digestive system and has been able to plant the new seeds. Ty ty ty. I'm not as creepy as I sound.
Hello, I'm so glad I came across your channel. I just fished this video and loved it!! I'm subscribed now and can't wait to watch some more videos.
Thank you . Your video helped me so much. I'm not rich and grow for function not fancy.
What
I grew some up on the front stoop. Columes in a pot
What about cantelopes
But them little critters gotta eat too
Great uses for wood scraps. Or boards sticks. Etc
Bailing twine is useful
I’m about to build a garden your size and after watching your video this is exactly how I will do it thank you.
Do you have any videos on Lettuce? If not, could you make one? We eat lettuce so much and want to grow our own but I’ve found it really hard to keep it healthy and clean of insects, love your videos!
In what direction should the arch openings be facing? My garden is surrounded by tall trees and my house is on the west. It doesn't get morning sunlight until 10 am.
Fabulous and so informative
Winter squash: does that mean you get squash in the winter? Or you plant it in the winter?
I love this idea.
B…
Have you ever tried using a material called TULLE? You can find it at almost any store that sell fabric. It's a strong lightweight netting that would definitely hold your melons, etc much better then panty hose. Plants can also be wrapped with it to protect them from unwanted pests. Several people make a fence out of it to keep the deer away.
Really enjoy the video, do you recommend growing againts a concrete wall?
How do you control the weeds in your raised beds?
