  1. But if you shear earlier won't they have too much hair grown back while its still hot at this time of year? Does their hair grow slower in the summer? I wonder if it helps to keep them cool also, like dogs with double coats.

  2. Are you checking for parasites in Alpaca's?

Are your goats getting much to eat in minerals besides copper? Looks like they have over grazed you place. Farms that are overstocked need to use a rotational or managed grazing system.

  3. Amber at Haskins Family Vlog has a t-shirt that says something like 'Sons, less drama than daughters, harder to keep alive.' So true, and BTW they never outgrow that. A couple of years ago my 85 year old Dad rolled his riding mower and broke his arm. He made a full recovery.

  4. Do you have fire ants there…and how do you cope or deal with the little devils?
They chased me out of my small garden in Georgia…don't live there anymore.
I'm in Ohio now and thankfully don't have to deal with them

  5. That is so funny about the well filtration system. Glad you got it figured out.
Farmer Ben takes good care of the goats. Have you thought about trying to work with 1 llama at a time to get them to be more comfortable with you?

  6. Ben is so sweet and cute!! This summer and all this excessive heat has been hard on alot of people and gardens! We can't wait for fall and less humidity here in central FL!

  7. Hi Jess. I wanted to know if your Kajari melons were a cross because when you ate them on video recently they were orange inside. Mine are green inside when ripe. Also yours seemed kind of large.

  8. I've been following you for several months….I've binged watched all of your videos…. <3 However, I noticed you stopped saying God bless you, and started saying, we bless you …Could I ask why? I wondered if someone made a remark against you to cause you to pause and not say "God bless you" anymore??? I'm a born again Christian and have listened to you share about your dads church and him Pastoring, and myself and family have been pastors for 32 years now…. My hubby has gotten very sick from an accident that a doctor did too him which left him with a failed liver 🙁
So, my son at 33 has stepped into the ministry, after many years of loving the life of ministry.
I absolutely love all things about you and your family and home schooling and the beauty of creation and the love of life that the Lord has placed in your heart. Please keep it real as always and may the Lord bless you and your family and all of your crops….And everything you put your hands to do.
Ps I love your sons gentle sweet spirit.
Your Mom and Dad sowed something great in you . Please tell them thank you for me.
Your hubby is a big ole teddy bear and such a role model for your sons. You've very blessed in so many ways…. You're what I call Rich in the Lord <3 xoxo's
