Hello from India! James, you are doing amazing job man. I am not sure whether you have done the video already. But could you make a video on companion plants?
Nuggets of knowledge my friend.ty for putting this out there.love to Tuck
awesome
you should always wash the bird poo and squirrel pee off your food before you eat it! 🙂 of course, we have had a lot of rain…
What has helped me more than anything in my first year of food forestry is adopting the mindset that, for the first three or four years, this is NOT a garden. This is a CLASSROOM. And it cost me money to earn a Master's degree, and it is going to cost me money to get the food forest the right way. So this way, I have given myself all kinds of grace to make mistakes. This is not a garden yet. It is an education. I expect nothing from it for four years. Everything I get from it is a tool or a gift for future harvests.
Always the best gardening team channel, James and Tuck!!!
If you have to cut the tree down, take some healthy branches and try rout them.
We are here….great video thanks
Do you get many pollinators in the forest? Any flowers to help attract? Love watching the massive amount of food you are growing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience!
Garden size doesn't really matter. I went from having a vegetable garden on a 50'x40' section of our property in NY to having a food forest on a 1/4 acre in AZ where we live now but the diversity of my fruit trees and vegetable garden has changed based on the local climate, heat, strength of the sun and not property size. IMHO all that matters is having the right attitude, motivation and inspiration, and you've helped our community grow and flourish, thanks brother.
What nut trees do you have growing in you food forest James?
Love the video's . You always teach a lot and are so giving. You and Tuck , are always fun and entertaining. Keep up the great work. God bless you and yours and yours too. Joel
Harmony is a good motto both in the garden and in the rest of our lives! Keep up the good work James
