  1. I always love checking back on your channel to see what new stuff is in your garden! Maybe you've covered this before, but how do you water everything? I take it, you don't use drip systems or irrigation?

  2. Maaannnn I love your garden. It’s my dream. I have seen lot of your show. Every time I get lost into it. My number one hobbies r gardening, but I get very little time and knowledge. Watching your garden I can only dream about to have my won. Maybe some day. Thanks a lot.

  3. Thanks for sharing your personal food forest. I've been dreaming of the day I have a property I can do this on. I'm glad you have a fruit tree that you've grown from seed, too.

  4. I am so envious. Living in the city isolates you from yourself and everything that's actually important 🙁
Although I have a bit of land in the rural area, none of my family members want to live away from the city 🙁

  5. We are starting our food forest and we have Bermuda grass where we are starting it. Do I need to pull that out or will the paper and wood chips another that hard to get rid of grass die that way too? Thank you!

  6. Hi James, Love your channel! Wondering if you have any tips for building a food forest in zone 5b on a woodlot? Trying to determine if a hoop house will grow in winter.
Any tips for deer/birds? Thank you!

  7. Hello James, I've been watching your channel for a couple of years, I live in New Mexico and started my food forest in 2019. Your food forest has inspired me. I have different challenges than you , but I will accomplish it, like you've said it takes time. Thank you for all that you do to help all of us with gardening!

  8. Love all your work! We’ve got a food forest but retained lawn paths… thinking of finally getting rid of those and just doing mulched paths… do you find mulched paths get weedy? Our original soul was compacted clay so the lawn paths are still compacted clay which isn’t ideal for a lawn either… hoping the lawns to mulch just increases the whole yards tolerance to drought during the summer and expands the fungal web. Do people miss a lawn once they switch?
