Awesome video Curtis.
A lot of good info there. Thank you!
Wish I knew the name of that "street cover." Where can we get some in America?
I love doing field micros. Interesting he is not using boards or weights during germination… is that true?
Absolutely fantastic stuff.
More more more from wise earth this guy is amazing.
Mahalo Curtis aloha
Yeah please more with Wise Earth Farms John is so informative and eager to share! Great content!!
Great Post
I wish I was younger, you make this so tantalizing. lol
Fascinating.
Fantastic video Curtis! Thanks for providing this type of content. Would love to see another video at this farm showing his planting techniques for micros.
I wonder how that would work in a wetter climate, if they would tend to rot or if the dirt splash would be a mess. Might have to try a small patch next year.
Excellent content!
Will this method work in a hot, humid climate?
Great info!
"macro" green= mezza greens
Can you tell me more about the seeder used for the microgreens also the climate
This guy gets as exited talking about his work as I do if I don't watch myself. A real inspiration!
can I ask, what is the 4.2 seeder ?
This guy is very good. How many years in career does he have?
Great video Curtis, I'm not quite understanding how he uses the 4point seeder after germinating the seeds first? Can you please explain?
PLEASE provide a link in the show notes to the source that he buys that fabric from! That seems absolutely crucial to this method of production since he said landscape fabric will overheat and cause mould. I'll check back again and cross my fingers you link it there because I would LOVE to produce our microgreens this way and cut out the time on seeding trays and money on potting soil.
Its not really very scalable, been tried so many times, very labor intensive, but micros are Soo good! Thank you, nicevideo
1. It is sown with the seeder or spread over the bed, by hand? 2. How much seed per square feet?
would be interested to hear about the processing program wise earth has for their macros
Someone please tell him to use knee guards. In 10 years time, he's gonna cry himself to sleep. I can tell… I used to do same mistake.
where is this?
Great Job Curtis. Very knowledgeable video.
What kind of seeder did he use to plant these beds? I couldn’t understand what his response was when Curtis asked him if he used the Jane Seeder near the beginning. Four pointer maybe?
I hope you do a followup this year on this farm and their microgreens. I wonder how they wash everything and if they put hydrogenperoxide in the wash water or anything….
