In this episode we sow our fall plantings of garlic for next year’s harvest. This year I’m changing things up a bit. In years past I have always sown my garlic traditionally in a soil garden bed. This year I am using the amazing power of straw gardening so we can compare results and see which method works the best. I get the feeling I already know how this will turn out!

I just planted garlic on my park way, hopefully I can incorporate my neighbors in the progress. Now I need to make a few signs "Please curb your dog" lol! Keep growing!!
I’ll be interested to see how that garlic does! Garlic is one of my favourite things to grow. Music is a variety in the porcelain group, I grow one in the same group called Sweet German. When you use the porcelains in cooking you don’t have to peel too many cloves to have a lot of garlic! Finding your channel is the first time I have ever run into straw bale gardening, I’m looking forward to see how you do it over the course of the growing season!
