  1. I wished to grow gooseberries and I am getting a cutting in Poundland here in the UK. If I plant it now How long would it take to get the greens? As I may not be staying at this property the next year.

  2. Zone 6a (Kansas City) and just planted 5 pixwell gooseberry plants. I chose the North and Eastern parts of my home to plant them, with partial sunlight during the first half of the day – I did this because I'm at the higher end of heat tolerance for these I think. Can't wait to make mead with them

  3. Do the gooseberries make good jam compared to the other common fruits or is it better to wait for the final sweeter crop and eat it fresh? I have a lot of berries coming through but I’ve never even tasted a gooseberry!

  4. I found a wild Gooseberry bush this evening whilst out with the dog. I'm planning on taking a cutting or 2. Would it be better to take a woody or green cutting?

  5. I’m in Tennessee (US) and I just moved on to a 5 ac plot of heavily wooded land. As I was clearing the trees I came across about a dozen tall, older gooseberry plants. Average height is about 12’-15’ tall. I want to prune them way down so they might be productive again. Any pointers for an old growth bush?

  6. Planted 2 9CM potted gooseberry about a year and have little to no growth is this normal in the first year?
I followed all the instructions in this video, every other berry and currant I planted at the same time has exploded in growth
