Just planted my first comfrey two days ago 🙂
I’m a new subscriber, I noticed you didn’t have wood chips in garden for mulch. Were their too many issues?
I want to buy seeds but not sure where to get a good supply.
Were the white flowered ones drawf comfrey? This is out of control in my garden so I wondered if their leaves are good for liquid compost too?
Are you kidding? Comfrey is a horrendous weed that, once planted in open ground, you can never get rid of it, and it is the most prolific growing weed known to man! It is so prolific, it'll destroy by crowding out, all nearby plants that you want. It should be grown in strictly controlled environments only.

I am familiar with making comfrey ferments i the "knf" style where you add 1:1 brown sugar to comfrey. Do you have any thoughts on adding the sugar vs not? Thanks!

I would like to use the leaves to make liquid fertiliser but don't want to rob the bees of their food source. Can I just cut the leaves?
