  1. Liked the video and seeing what the products looked like for real,I bought some colored organic carrots the other day, purple, yellow and white had granddaughters try them they were not to thrilled at first, but yellow carrots are now our favorite carrots, much sweeter than orange

  2. I wanted to thank you for your videos. You have refreshed my memory on so many things on gardening. When my mother was still alive and was ill, we put serious gardening on hold and so much of what you share are things I was taught growing up and just forgot. Thank you and the Lords blessing on you and yours.

  3. I am growing the baker creek atomic red and cosmic purple carrots. I was hoping they would get a really sweet and delicious flavor, but they are just okay. I think I may have to try the Kyoto red. Thank you for sharing part of you greenhouse tour.

  4. Lol, I'm a radish obsessed weirdo, but all I could think when he was showing that red fleshed radish was that the greens looked lush and unique, and that might be the perfect variety for radish greens, which are one of my favorite cooked greens in the spring (especially when mixed with a bit of dandelion).

  5. What a great video. We want to go to Baker's Creek before the May Festival so it is not so crowded and we can really see the plants. Of course we love the many people of the May Festival so we will be there also. We need to get that Chinese yellow turnip because we love rutabaga and all root vegetables for soups during the winter. Thanks Jess.

  6. Received my Baker Creek's seed catalog today and I've began making my list based on climate zone! Thank you Jess for the intro to such a great place! My grandparents had their veggies beds just like the ones from Jere Gettle's green house! It was nostalgic to see it!

  7. I got right online and ordered the pink celery and blue butterfly peas and of course more seeds lol ! This is gonna be fun ! Glad you showed this footage! Thanks!

  8. Meet grew several varieties of carrots a few years ago, including Pusa asita. It was the favorite as far as taste- beautiful plant! But in our area, it didn’t perform as well- went to seed early. That’s when I found out there are carrots for different seasons. I live 8,000’ elevation, cool summers, short season. I wonder it they would do better in the south than here

  9. I'm pretty knew to your channel. You're getting me to fall in love with plants ❤ I've wanted a homestead for a long time but have mainly focused on animals. It seems plants in pots are my current future right now, so thank for showing the romantic side of plants ❤.
