Looks like you totally tilled in your potato field cover crop in the spring right before planting potatoes and then you replanted your cover crop right after planting your potatoes or shortly there after?
Wonderful harvest
Did you happen to take a soil sample from your first year? I'd love to see a comparison with your current soil.
Hi Mark great slide show, do you remember the variety of tomatoes that you grew. Were they a greenhouse variety or a field variety??
2014 must have been a pretty good year for you.
Very very nice video – gorgeous produce. Thanks
That’s some democratic music. I thought I was going to see pictures of the alps at first..LOL. Just joking around.. your gardens always dose so good. Everything thing just thieves..!! You have definitely proved the theory of cover crops. And explained why also. What a great channel this is..!! Can we mail order from you at harvest? Thank you so much for sharing..!! Have a great night..!!
Wow! Thanks for the beautiful pictures. Snowing right now and I am grateful for the moisture but this was a nice break from the gloom.
So, with your cover crops, you just mow them down and plant in them, right? You don't till the whole plant up?
I didn't realize you grew to sell. I have been watching your videos for some time and wondered how on earth were you going to use all of that produce. Beautiful produce !
Mark, you have such beautiful produce. I am most envious of your squash and zuchinni. Mine get slaughtered by that darn vine borer, even my pattypan. I think I will be covering my garden in buckwheat and clover this spring. I am a bit reluctant to plant vetch, not enough cold to kill it. More videos please, love them.
QUESTION: Which ground cover did you like the best for growing crops in?
Loved that first music BTW!
Beautiful pictures, very very inspiring!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Absolutely beautiful.
Always fun to look back. Enjoyed. Cheers!
Thank You for the wonderful video. I’m ready for spring, time will come when we can shake off the cabin fever ( not soon enough) !!
COME ON SPRINGTIME!! Great video.
You should be very proud of what your land/farm yields using accommodating, regenerative means. Thanks
Very nice to watch while the ice storm rages outside. I even got a few good ideas watching. Thanks
so wonderful! Music was fantastic, too.
Thanks for the great slideshow Mark. I can't wait to get back to gardening! 🙂
WOW!
Fabulous! This is where I would buy all my food! If only I lived in your area. Then I would be begging to be an old lady apprentice. Haha. Thanks for your videos – I’m learning so much.
Mark, how do you deal with the tomato blight that has ruined crops from California to Canada for about 7 years or so?I started to notice it across the mid west about 5 years ago.ruined my dads crop 2 years in a row in Illinois,he gave up planting them after that.
