  1. Thanks for the video. Wondering if you have tried using grass/hay to mulch heavily and to help keep the weeds out?
I like the idea of what nature is offering instead using of synthetic materials.

  2. 1- Grow soil, grow food.
    2- Gardening with Micorizal fungi.

    Hi Mark,
I thought you had lost a lot of weight. Looking great! Congratulations!
The squash look terrific. I have oodles of Spaghetti squash this year. Not ripe yet though. One is 18" long and 8" diameter at the base.. a monster. lol!
The majority of the bees have disappeared last 2 weeks. Have been hand pollinating all the different zucchini and butternut squash plant flowers to keep them coming as long as possible.

  3. Those squash look and sound very tastey, I will look for the patti pan variety in our seed catalogue. Love that they grow fast, we need that on our latitude. Thank you for including some soil science, I'm really enjoying that as well. Thank you Mark

  4. Just happened to watch this video now… hope you read this comment, sir. How about "I am organically soiled" with a picture of a microorganism on the T shirt? I am happy to tell you, thanks to great teachers like you, we got about 6 large pumpkins… the Asian gourd(store bought) variety, I think… from the compost pile that I built straight in a raised bed in a kind of crude hugekultur model. Two more waiting to be harvested! With absolutely no work on my part. Not even watering!
