  1. I'd love to hear more about your kids' garden. We've been reading children's books about seeds, compost, etc. with my toddler. She seems to get the concept of planting and harvesting. I'm thinking of putting aside a small space for her this summer. I wonder if you have any tips, ideas, or things to consider when gardening with little ones. I've chosen a few things that I think will be small and easy for her to pick, but what else might we consider? Thanks so much!

  2. Hey there! Seriously speaking now, we have a small lovely herd of Alpacas available in a range of beautiful colors available with all of their accessories including a trailer for a stupidly cheap price! This is not a joke…. My mom and I are partners in the business. We have been doing the Alpaca thing for twenty something years and are sadly realizing we need to retire. Mom will be 81 and I need another kidney transplant. We would love our babies to go to a good home of our choosing. We would probably accept any reasonable offer as well as take payments. Please check us out on a website called Open Herd. Openherd.com Our ranch name is !!!Sunburst Alpacas!!! You can find us at the top of the search list. We would love to chat with you. We are selling everything for one low negotiable price. It would be awesome if some how they went to a family that would occasionally show and talk about my babies on the web so I could still see them all! It’s a miracle when God gives us our best ideas and with his grace they come to fruition….. Have a blessed day!

  3. I just happen to stumble across your page in the suggested video feed and glad I did. My wife and I have future dreams to own a homestead at some point. Your intro video on your page was very gripping. We can't wait to follow along in your journey. Feel free to check out our page we recently started. Looking forward to more videos from you.

  4. Hi Jess & Jeremiah. What a beautiful life, you two are sharing! Just curious, have you guys thought about building some wooden platforms for the goats to jump/play on? **Full Disclosure; my only goat experience/interaction is from my experience at the San Diego Zoo, But from all of those first hand experiences, I can say, they seem to really enjoy them. It will be fun to watch the process, if, you do it. Thank you both for sharing!

  5. When I was moving a lot of wood chips I used two 5 gallon buckets! Scoop out of your pile and use the handles to carry and you can dump them anywhere! Goes pretty quick this way 🙂

  6. When we have excess we take it to church and leave it in the lobby and people know if there's produce there its free to take

  7. I can't believe you gave those duck eggs to your pigs. Surely you could have stored & used those eggs for your large family or sold/gave them way to relatives or friends.

  8. Gosh I thought my tomato seedlings were excessive, I have 12 of each of my 10 varieties…and 108 of one I planted by slicing a cherry tomato. 🙂

  9. I’ve only had 5 roosters in my 3 years with chickens, and they’ve all been cool. I wish this was Facebook so I could share a picture of my two favorite bantam roosters sitting on my shoulders.
