  1. Dang ya went from dealing with a bigfoot to now dealing with a little foots. LOL. Rabbit stew is mighty tasty ya know! Monster slug ya found there! Should be some good garlic come from those. Good job done on getting the onion sets fixed up. Green in the tress means spring is almost here. Have a good day!

  2. We"ll just start calling you Elmer Fudd.
See Elmer, you've saved yourself some $$. What is a gard? Never heard of that before. So you think the rabbits come through the gate? At least they close it. Polite rabbits. (hehehe)
I like garlic, hope you get a whole bunch from what you replanted and from what you left behind. Good luck with the onions! Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.

  3. On your walk to your Allotment I noticed 0:43 lots of leaves still on the ground. Free resource if you can be arsed? Have you ever tried Rabbit stew?

  4. had to laugh looking at the other comments i dont think they saw dogs on PETROL instead of PATROL or are your rabbits suffer dyslexia
me i have cats cacking on my raised flower bed which ive just made

  5. hey mate, that looked like Sloe (Blackthorn) blossom on your walk in, its just starting to blossom up here, like the fact that you've overlooked some Garlic bulbs and now have MANY to plant!I've decided to grow my white onions from seed, (multi-sown) but still am using Red Baron sets -cheers!

  6. Hi Adam, if its not Rabbits it is Rats. Slugs are the bain of my life, Field Mice are all about but seem to cope with those. Spring is well on now which is why the male pheasants are rampant. Saw a couple on the plot this morning which means I will have to start protection against them this month. Happy days. Hope your sign works and god luck with the onion sets. Take care and thumbs up Mike.

  7. I really enjoy your dry sense of hummer… good growing tips though, intermingled with raw vitriolic hatred of pests.. LOL.. Cheers mate.
    Cracking stuff…
I find that a small amount of led, rapidly introduced to the eye cures any rabbit infestation BTW… The cure will cost close to a grand mind you, R10 (PCP air rifle) decent night scopes and mounts etc.. LOL

  8. You will get something from the garlic I did the same a couple of years ago some slit some were the round ones. Didnt get very big but it was Garlic all the same. Dont forget the camera lol. Thats the best way to do sets mate. My daughter wants rabbits can you send me some 😉 I dont know what to suggest with them mate other than trapping. Look in the bright side You haven't got voles tunneling under everything I found some tunnels yesterday. Three POWs jumped out and ran off into the woods. Mole crickets yup I got them too… Thats why I do onion sets the buggers will wipe out onion seedling in a couple of days but the sets seem to be too big a mouth full.. Got one yesterday and fed it to the Quail 😉 It made me happy and the quail 😉

  9. I get you on the wabbits! On my first year of growin broccoli they chewed em bald!

The wabbit's manure is very good for growin garlic though!

    Great tips!

  10. Evening buddy why not put those slabs right up against the fence the little wabbits defo wont get under then and you still get to keep your path and also gain a little more planting space and as you come accross more slabs repeat until it is done !!!

  11. Throwing an idea at you Adam. What if you sprayed your veg with the natural pesticide with the Dawn dish detergent ingredient. Its not toxic to the bugs, just makes them taste bad to them. I bet it will work on Rabbits too.

  12. So, Peter and his mates have chosen you above all others. You shoukd feel vey special. A shame they don't eat slugs. Boring as popping onion sets into pots is to watch, they are the only thing I have ever grown and they are doing well, which IS exciting. Thanks Adam.

  13. Great find on the garlic, you have quite a head start on them now!!! Rock picking, right up there with weeding, lol. Amazes me how your sets never go to seed and half of mine do. Do what works for you, kinda the key in gardening!!! Great vid man, sorry it took me so long to get here:))
