  1. Maybe you could grow some plants like tomatoes (patio type size) that you could give to an assisted living or nursing home. I bet that some of the residents would love to tend to the plants and grow some tomatoes.

  2. Hi Luke! This is my first year starting from seeds…and I started nearly 100 seeds in peat pots, but I just saw an older video saying that they are not the best option. Can the bottom of the cups be cut off to help allow the roots to spread? Any tips on how to to avoid a complete loss would be great. I live in Maryland if the climate zone helps in determining what can be done. Thank you.

Note: I will be getting a plastic tray next weekend so this doesn't happen again.

  3. I really like the idea of using the space to grow plants to donate to nursing homes. I think it is a relaxing hobby that can do great work in places like that. Gardening doesn't have to be physically taxing and gives a sense of accomplishment that is dearly needed there.

  4. 41 here in Alaska today but still freezing at night. Our last frost isn’t until end of May. Your spring crop temp guidelines are the temps we have all summer.

  5. Hi there!! I’m extremely new to the whole gardening world. I was curious… how did you get all this knowledge of gardening and when to plant what? Also, in the “off season” of certain fruits/veggies, what do you do with the plant itself?

  6. I usually share some plants or sell them … But I also separate whole seed packages and take seeds to the Food Pantry if I have an excess from saving seeds.

  7. Small fruit tree clones& starting fruit trees from seed/stone. Thank you Luke for all you do. I was born and brewed Michigan, now have a home in Indiana. Your content still applies and you know your stuff. Many blessings!

  8. Luke, I am curious as to why you grow so many varieties of each vegetable. Is this just a fun thing? Or is there another reason. Also just curious as to how big your whole garden space is. Thank you! loving your videos!
